privacy policy

A personal preamble from Deena, founder of drivetrain

I value your right to privacy as much as I value my own privacy, which is to say, I value both immensely. The internet and smartphone technology have changed how the world works in many ways. One of these is the way that our personal information is available to others more than ever before. I want to assure you that drivetrain operates with the right to privacy of the individuals in mind at all times.

Where data concerns a child (anyone under 18), drivetrain will treat that data with the highest level of care. Young people today are growing up in a world where it's harder to learn through experience without judgement and for mistakes to go unnoticed (because everything is documented on social media/the internet). I want to assure you that drivetrain operates with the rights of the child in mind at all times.

The policy below is a formal statement to explain how drivetrain complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). The GDPR is an EU regulation which is designed to protect your rights, give you power over the use of your personal data, and give you the power to hold organisations (like drivetrain) accountable for their data collection and usage practices. I want you to feel comfortable with how your information is used, so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, queries or concerns.
